Biorhythm compatibility

Biorhythm Compatibility — Compare Two Charts

Biorhythm compatibility compares where two people sit in the same cycle on the same day. When both physical lines are high, shared effort feels easy; when one is high and the other low, the pair is naturally out of step for that kind of activity. The score is a percentage of phase similarity across the cycles — a description of timing, not a verdict on a relationship.

What the compatibility score measures

For each cycle, the calculator takes both people's values on the chosen day and measures how close they are. Two lines at +70% and +65% are almost perfectly aligned. Two lines at +70% and -70% are as far apart as the cycle allows. Average that across the cycles and you have the overall figure.

Because the cycles have different lengths, a pair is never aligned on everything at once. A high overall score usually means the two core cycles happen to agree this week; it will change, and that is normal.

Reading a mismatch usefully

A low alignment day is the most practically useful reading in the whole tool, because it explains a very ordinary experience: one person wants to go out and the other wants the sofa, and neither of them is being difficult.

Named clearly and in advance, a mismatch stops being a disagreement about character and becomes a scheduling question.

Both high

Do the ambitious version together — the long walk, the big cook, the difficult decision.

Both low

Plan down, not up. Two low physical lines is a takeaway-and-film evening, not a failure.

One high, one low

Split the effort. The person on the high side carries the demanding part without keeping score.

Both crossing zero

Avoid stacking a difficult conversation onto a day when both of you are changing gear.

A worked example

Two partners born eleven days apart will hold a near-fixed relationship in the 23-day physical cycle: roughly half a cycle out of phase, permanently. Their physical energy will rarely peak on the same day, all year.

That is not a compatibility problem. It is a genuinely useful piece of scheduling information — one of them will nearly always be the one with capacity, and it alternates roughly every eleven days.

Where the limits are

Compatibility here is arithmetic on two birth dates. It knows nothing about history, values, communication or care, which are the things that actually decide how two people get on.

Use it as a conversation starter with a clear frame: this is timing, and timing is only ever part of the picture.

How this helps day to day

In practicePick the evening

Check the shared chart before booking anything that needs both of you at full effort.

In practiceDivide the load fairly

On split days, the higher line takes the cooking and the driving without it becoming a negotiation.

In practiceDefuse a flat day

Two low emotional lines explains a scratchy evening better than either person's behaviour does.

In practiceUse it for teams too

The same view works for a colleague or a training partner, not only a couple.

Looking further ahead

AheadFind the shared peak

Scan the next month for the day both physical lines sit highest and put the trip or the house move there.

AheadPlan around a known gap

If your cycles sit permanently out of phase, alternate who leads on big weekends instead of expecting to match.

AheadPrepare for busy periods

Before a demanding fortnight, see whose emotional cycle dips and agree in advance who picks up the slack.

AheadTrack more than one pairing

Save several people and compare pairs to see which combinations are naturally in step.

Questions people ask

How is biorhythm compatibility calculated?
Each person's cycle value is calculated for the same date, the difference between the two values is measured per cycle, and the results are averaged into a single percentage of phase similarity.
Is a high biorhythm compatibility score good?
It means your cycles are in step on that date, so shared activity should feel easier. It says nothing about the quality of the relationship, and it changes from week to week.
Can biorhythm compatibility predict a relationship?
No. It compares timing between two birth dates and has no access to anything that determines how a relationship works.
Can I compare more than two people?
Yes — save several profiles in My List and pair any two of them, then switch pairs to compare different combinations.
